St. Lucia Photographer Shares A Photo A Day
With The World For A Year!

Riding Thru Harrison’s Cave In Barbados
This week I’ve been spending the most amazing time at a family reunion in Barbados.
It turns out that I am the great grandson of a sea captain who had a few families in Barbados ( he is reputed to have sired more than 40 children!) and my trip over here has been like none I’ve ever done before.
At a time when I’m getting ready to promote St. Lucia’s tourism by creating a website to showcase "The Best of St. Lucia" I’ve been inspired by the discovery that my great grand father, Captain John Douglas, was also extremely philanthropic and would share out foodstuff to his entire community, both black and white, whenever he returned from a sea voyage…and this at a time when racial prejudice was a greater issue than it is today.
This discovery motivates me even more in my newest venture to use the internet skills I’ve acquired to benefit more people than just myself.
As always your comments are welcome…
