Beautiful! I have never been to Hawaii. Was it an overcast day or did you just go very early in the morning? I know waterfalls are so tricky. You really have to have soft light to capture them well!

Akaka Falls was amazing. Less than a minute after that shot the mist had cleared, then 5 minutes later the waterfall had completely disappeared behind a huge mist cloud.
The day was overcast and the rain never really let up that day.
The Big Island of Hawaii is interesting in that the side with all the resorts is predominantly dry while the side where the Hawaiians live gets rain 360 days a year…literally everyday!
While in Hawaii I learnt to shoot in the rain as if it wasn’t even there!!!
