St. Lucia Beach Weddings

This picture was shot in picturesque Rodney Bay during a publicity shoot that Sandals hired me to do shortly after they purchased what was then a Hyatt Hotel that had gone into receivership.
As usual I was shooting from my favorite aerial platform (the helicopter) with my favorite pilot – Alex, of course!
Just look how close we got to the tree tops. Now that’s vintage Alex!
As I mention this I suddenly recall that the day before I flew with a different pilot who was afraid that if he flew too close to the surface he couldn’t recover the chopper in case of an emergency. So I abandoned the shoot…respectfully of course
, then went out with Alex the very next day
…And that was some fun!
