      (I’m Sharing A Picture A Day With The World
                              For A Year!)

          Toasting on a Volcano in Hawaii!

While this picture certainly tells the story of watching new land being
formed, what one never gets from such a picture is the intense heat.

Every time the wind blew in my direction the heat would become so
intense that I’d have to step back. 

It was then that I understood why at the start of the trek we were told
to take lots of water even though the water was heavy and
cumbersome to carry for over 2 hours over glass sharp volcanic
rocks!
