St. Lucia Sunset at Cap Maison
You will recall from yesterday that Patrick & Patty had 3 simple requests for their precious wedding photography:
- No Tin Soldiers
- A Beautiful Family Portrait For Above The Mantlepiece
- A Stunning Sunset Portrait At The Elegant Cliff Restaurant At Cap Maison
Needless to say…Piece-a-cake for me!…As is evident from their Cap Maison Sunset Masterpiece.
Funny thing is Patrick was worried about missing the sunset at Cap Maison and a large part of our pre-wedding consultation when I visited with him at Windjammer early last week, was about what time to leave Windjammer to get to Cap Maison so that we were just in time for the sunset…not too early…and definitely not too late!
Well you will recall that I had previously scouted Cap Maison for Patrick & Patty. And in addition I had already analysed the quality of the light on their wedding day, as well as determined the exact time of sunset plus made allowances for the amount of cloud I’d seen in the sky. And funnily enough it takes more time to commit this to paper than the actual analysis took because this for me is like breating in my sleep…yeah, seriously!..
Well the end result was that we got to Cap Maison just as the sun was winding down into a radiantly beautiful golden orb, and after allowing 5 minutes for the pre-requisite cosmetic touch ups we began firing away, returning with some absolutely magical sunset wedding photos that both Patrick, Patty and their family will have to cherish for a lifetime…and then some!!!
