St. Lucia Weddings Lighting II
Day 210/155 Left
St. Lucia Photographer Shares A Photo A Day
With The World For A Year!

Another Sunset Wedding Scene
Compared to yesterday’s photo this one was made with a single flash atop the camera. This sort of lighting is a lot more even than what was featured yesterday and doesn’t define texture and detail quite as well as side lighting.
Most times when shooting a shot like this your camera’s sensors will be overwhelmed by the intensity of the sunlight from the sunset.
To maintain the colours in the sunset I exposed for the sunset and adjusted my flash output for the correct rendering of the wedding couple. As a consequence this image was made with my camera set to manual exposure.
