The only time that they should charge a fee is when the Bride chooses to have their photographer (the hotel's in house photographer) take the photos and they should be able to provide a portfolio of events the they personally photographed and rates should be competitive. It would be in the best interest to just offer a list of names that handled weddings and let the bride choose. 3 By no means should qualified photographers be banned from hotels.
