Meet The St. Lucia Helicopters Team…This is where I get
                                      my high!

See that pilot on the right?…That’s Alex – The best darn chopper
pilot in the world and I trust him with my life.  Alex is simply a
cyborg with his machine!

Now this is not to say that the other pilots aren’t any good…Hell No! 

It’s just that the first time I ever flew in a chopper it was with Alex,
over the ocean, chasing big sports fishing boats, with no doors on
the chopper and me kinda hanging outside!…Yeah, real fun stuff!!

Well Alex promised to scare the you know what out of me, and little
did I know that I was up to the challenge.

Anyhow the shoot went off well, the guys on the boats loved what
we did and I brought back some really great photos. 

Then when we got back to the hangar I looked Alex straight in the
eye and asked: "So when do I get the scary part?"  And the rest
as they say is history.

I really love shooting with Alex, because he loves photography and
truly flies his machine as if he were in the passenger’s seat shooting
the photos.  And amazingly there is precious little exchange of words
between us when we work together.  It’s almost as if he’s in my head
and knows the exact shot that I want.

Some of my best aerial photography has been shot with Alex at the
helm and sometimes in as little as 10 minutes of being over a site.
