Guess i am just old fashioned enough to believe that men should treat women with respect and vice versa. All human beings should also act in a manner that deserves respect. Justifying it is not. There's a big difference though between losing your temper / your cool on the rare occasion and domestic violence - I think that trying to decide who's justified or not in this case and of course non celebrity cases also, is not something the casual observer can do. I haven't been following the Rihanna/Chris Brown issue hardly at all, but from what I do see, no-one really has a clear idea of what happened yet, so decision on if it was a loss of cool or is domestic violence, well, that's a long way out of our reach I think. Understanding why domestic violence happens is easy. Justifying it is not.
