A Drought Beaten Vigie Peninsula
Here’s a shot of a rather drought ravaged & grey peninsula on St. Lucia’s north western coast. Normally this peninsula would be a brilliantly lush green, radiantly contrasting with the aquamarine ocean seen here…But no such luck this year.
Lesson to be learnt is that all too often it is only when we lose the things, or people, that we take for granted that we then realize how truly priceless they are…
And in this season of drought the St. Lucia Water Company’s motto that "Water Is Life" has suddenly taken on new meaning.
Might this be a lesson to us all that we should never squander any of our resources…
