Will Your Photographer Make You Cry?!!

Got a call from a bride today who said that she visited my website and started to cry!

Funny, because Ashley’s Video had the same effect, as Ashley started crying when she saw her very own Video SlideShow.  Now it was a little overwhelming for Ashley because she never knew that I was producing a video for her…(Hey photographers don’t do that, right!)

Well ever since starting these Video SlideShows I have had more brides in tears than ever before. 

Unlike a regular video, Video SlideShows take your best photographs and display them in a running format where each picture is shown for about 5 seconds before transitioning into the next image.

These 5 seconds are a huge amount of time for the brain to process the image and everyone is just mesmerized by the unfolding story, especially when the moments are as tender as those in the weddings I shoot.

I also believe that my Video SlideShows are such a resounding hit, because as Ashley told me:

“This is great because I don’t have to think about how
I’m going to share the wonderful experience we had with
you Kirk, with our friends and family at our reception
back home…” 

So to brides everywhere – Hear This: the most important question you can ask your photographer is:

“Will You Make Me Cry?!!”

But don’t just go up to him and ask the question.  Instead see how his/her
work moves you then ask leading questions that will tell you whether
he/she is in it just as a job or if Wedding Photography is their passion.

It is important that you find out if your photographer is willing to get down
and dirty just for you,  take off his shoes and roll up his pants, or even
get them wet just to capture your most magical magic moments, or will
he be staying safely far up on the seashore.

I guess it’s a no brainer which photographer is right for you!
