With The World For A Year!
You Don’t Have To Be Rich…
Okay today is a celebration for me because you can’t imagine how frustrating it was that I was boxed in in my twitter account.
You see shortly after gaining 2000 followers I suddenly couldn’t follow more than 2 or 3 people at a time even though the difference between my followers and those who were following me was only about 300.
Worse still, no one I asked seemed to have the solution to this problem and then on top of that after posting a message to twitter help I finally got back a response 2 weeks later apologising for the fact that 2 weeks later twitter hadn’t gotten to my email as yet!…Boy have those guys cracked the code on massive growth or what!!
Anyway, long story short…I got to tinkering last night and finally realised that while there was a very small difference in my follow/follower ratio I was following a lot of people who were not following me back and there were a lot of people who were following me who I was not following back and it appears that this was the offending metric.
So now I no longer feel like I’m letting down all of my friends who I have become so fond of sharing a slice of my world with…And more importantly I wish to say a heartfelt "Thank You" to everyone for being so understanding, your indulgence has been most appreciated.
And to celebrate I thought I’d share this rather whimsical picture that clearly shows that you don’t have to be rich to own an island!…
In fact as soon as I realised that I had my problem licked I just knew that this was the photo that I wanted to post, and I had to dig deep in my archives to pull it out.
And the song that keeps ringing in my head as I share this photo is Kiss by Prince and I share the lines that are colouring my day…

To rule my world"…
Now when you think of the guy who owns this island it kinda makes you realise that rich & poor are primarily states of mind.
And so I ask…"What’s your state of mind?!"
